Arthur M. Jolly

Arthur M. Jolly is a screenwriter and playwright, recognized by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences with a Nicholl Fellowship in Screenwriting. His feature film Where We Disappear is available on Amazon Prime. He is repped by Brant Rose Agency. As a playwright, Jolly has penned more than seventy-five produced plays, including The Lady Demands Satisfaction, A Gulag Mouse, Long Joan Silver, There Is No Play, Rising, Snakes in a Lunchbox, The Christmas Princess, and Mrs. Dilber's Christmas Carol. He is a three-time Joining Sword and Pen winner, Todd McNerney National Playwriting Award winner, Region IV David M. Cohen Playwriting Award winner, and a finalist for the Woodward/Newman Drama Award. Jolly teaches workshops at Thespian Festivals, and is always happy to talk to classes and drama groups about writing for stage and screen, either in person or on Zoom. He is a long-time featured artist and workshop leader at the Valdez Theatre Conference.
