The abuser isn't afraid of the law.\r\n\r\nAbusers come in all shapes and sizes.\r\n\r\n\r\nThose we've know all our lives, who manipulate us.\r\n\r\nThose we've only met, who shut us down cruelly.\r\n\r\nAbusers think \"no\" means maybe, then yes in a few minutes.\r\n\r\nThey can be males, adults, or children.\r\n\r\nAnyone who doesn't listen when we say no.\r\n\r\nAnyone who doesn't respect our rights to our own bodies, and minds.\r\n\r\nAnyone who insists you go back to your abuser is a more dangerous abuser.\r\n\r\n\r\nYou may have to give up everything, and everyone you know, and care for.\r\n\r\nYou can do it.\r\n\r\n\"The New Underground Railroad\" will come into being and protect women, children, pets, and yes, the occasional man, from the retaliations of their former abusers.\r\n\r\nSomeday, those who need to escape from abuse, with or without children, can legally do so\r\n\r\nListen to your heart, if you think you are a survivor of abuse.\r\n\r\nWe know your danger, we know your fear. It's very real.\r\n\r\nEscape to somewhere safe, and live a healthy life.\r\n\r\nNo sir! No means No!\r\nNo sir! It don't mean maybe!\r\nNo sir! It don't mean yes!\r\nNo sir!
