Robert G. Hamilton

Robert Hamilton is an internationally respected pianist, recording artist and teacher.

As a high school student, he the piano, clarinet and bassoon. He graduated summa cum laude from Indiana University. He moved to New York City to study further, notably with pianist Vladimir Horowitz. He received grants from the Rockefeller Fund and the U.S. State Department.

In the 1990s, Hamilton served as artistic director of the London Piano Festival, and in 2000, he joined the annual PianoSummer in New York.

Hamilton currently serves on the faculty of the School of Music in the Herberger College of Fine Arts at Arizona State University.
