Dr. ISTVÁN KÁSA graduated from the BME Faculty of Electrical Engineering in 1960. He was working at the Telecommunications Research Institute, where he was head of the scientific department. He performed research and development work in the field of passive and active microwave circuits, large microwave equipment and microwave measurement technology. In 1964, he obtained a doctorate at the Budapest University of Technology. He is one of the co-authors of the "Microwave Handbook" and the author of the book "Microwave Integrated Circuits". Member of HTE - The Scientific Association for Infocommunications and MATE - Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
