Marz Attarwala

Marz Attarwala was born in India. She has a post-graduate degree in social sciences. As a child, she was fascinated by the Gujarati poems and short stories she was learning in her school. The rhyming words and the characters in the poem and the stories caught her attention. As a young teenager, she started loving quotes and whenever she saw one, she noted it down in her book.

By the time she was in her first year of college, she started writing couplets in Hindi language and poems in the English language. While moving to the USA, she left her dairy in her parent's home and could not retrieve it. For some time she was too busy raising her three children and hardly got any time to write but she kept listening to Ghazals, Bollywood, and English songs that had good meaning or a life message.

After some thirty years she started writing again and this time, it was in all three languages! Poems, ghazals, shayris (couplets in Hindi-Urdu language), and later a book. During the Covid19 pandemic, she kept writing while working her full-time job. A total of six books have been self-published by her and are available in multiple markets on Amazon in Kindle and paperback formats. She has adopted a format wherein she shares her passion for quotes, poems, and short stories, all together in one book along with her love of photography! A separate book of poems has also been published for poem lovers. She has kept the prices of her books low to make them more affordable for the readers.
