Jim Smith is a British author, illustrator and designer who is behind the gift and card range, Waldo Pancake, Head of Design for franchise chain Puccino Coffee as well as creator of the award-winning children's series Barry Loser.

Jim Smith (aka Waldo Pancake) is a designer, illustrator, and writer best known for his sharp, silly, and wonderfully blunt brand of humor. Under the name Waldo Pancake, he’s created a world of products filled with bold typography, cheeky one-liners, and deadpan doodles that turn everyday objects into laugh-out-loud statements.
